You should enter the “Advanced Category” if you can answer yes to any or all of the following:
- Do you always complete benchmark CrossFit WODs as prescribed?
- Have you competed in The CrossFit Regionals, either as an individual or on a team?
- Have you competed in other CrossFit-style competitions?
- Can you complete: 50 or more unbroken double unders, unassisted pistol squats, clean and jerk 185#/125# for multiple reps, swing a 2 pood/1.5 pood KB for multiple reps, and complete unbroken, unassisted chest-to-bar-pull-ups?
If you do not meet the criteria listed above, we recommend that you enter the “Intermediate Category.” We are encouraging all of the Intermediate competitors to complete the workouts as prescribed, but if you need to scale, we will allow it.Scaling will be allowed, but it will push you into a lower rank. Example: RXd weight is 95#, you decide to use 85#, you will be placed lower than all the other RXd competitors regardless if you beat them on time or reps.
